Spring at Lake Agnes

Starting at Lake Louise, a 380 meter hike up the mountain slope on the north side leads to Lake Agnes and the famous Lake Agnes Tea House. The view of turquoise water and jagged mountain peaks is stunning, and well worth the effort to get there. The view of Banff in the opposite direction is equally impressive. Although it was June when I visited, at this elevation summer had not yet arrived.
